Description
A simple, flavorful pull-apart bread made with canned biscuits, browned butter, and everything bagel seasoning. Perfect for tailgating, parties, or game day snacking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated soft biscuits (8 biscuits)
- 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and cook until it turns golden brown and smells nutty. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, mix the browned butter, minced garlic, everything bagel seasoning, and parsley flakes to form a paste.
- Separate the biscuits and slice each one in half horizontally to create 16 halves.
- Place the biscuit halves cut-side up in the prepared baking dish, ensuring they are snug but not overlapping.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the tops of the biscuits.
- Brush the seasoned butter mixture generously over the tops of the biscuits, getting into the gaps.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Cover with foil if browning too fast.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set.
Notes
Brown the butter for a nutty depth of flavor. Use fresh garlic instead of powder for better taste. Let the bread cool for 5 minutes before pulling apart to prevent a cheesy mess. Can be assembled up to 4 hours ahead and refrigerated.
